2-Pass Encoding

    Hi everyone,

    Just tried this out today, thank you for this amazing plugin! Will save me endless hours by avoiding unnecessary intermediates.

    I had a search here without success, but sorry if this has been asked before:

    I tried 2-pass average bitrate encoding straight from Resolve. Is this something that is simply not possible due to the nature of how resolve and voukoder interact, or are there special settings I need to apply to make it work?

    I'm having no issues with custom H.265 with 1-pass CQ, but am getting the "codec not found" or similar error and the job failing on the first frames of the export if 2-pass average bitrate is configured instead.

    Hat das Thema freigeschaltet.

    2-pass requires a stat file output, and video output on the 1st run gets disabled. To implement this requires a software level change on the video editing program, because they would expect to output a video, and Voukoder is an intermediate plugin... I guess?
