Could you recommend a codec that would be similar enough to setting CRF on x264/x265 (and if it's faster - even better)? Sorry to bother with what might be a trivial question, but I've been out of the video encoding "game" for quite some time already and don't know what new has happened lately.
No. They are incompatible with the new license.
Perhaps a workaround might be for the Pro version to tap into x264 and x265 from the Classic version if both are install.
Out of curiosity: Is anybody using SRT in your editing workflow / previz / etc?
Definitely. Srt is a very common subtitle format.

Yes, it is a bug and will get fixed in the next version.
Hi Vouk, VoukoderPro doesn't seem to automatically match available muxers/containers for the codecs used like the Voukoder classic does. Is there any information available to help users understand the compatibility of muxers?
For example, when I was rendering TIFF, I used the image2 muxer and the result was an exception.

I had an issue with Voukoder ever since Vegas 20 build 403, on my ancient Xeon X5670/Radeon HD6870 setup, where Vegas would crash as soon as I attempted a render with the Voukoder plugin.
I'm pleased to say that Voukoder Pro doesn't have this issue 
Configuring a scene with LIBOPENH264 video and AAC audio muxing into mp4 seems to yield a video file which shows the same codec info in VLC as my old videos from back when Vegas hadn't broken Voukoder for me. The only setting I had to tweak was the AAC bitrate, taking it up to 128.
