I installed Windows 7 to test this issue but I can't reproduce it with Premiere CC 2018. Maybe this only appears with older versions of Premiere under Windows 7 ?
Can you try this version? Its built against the Windows 8.1 SDK. Hopefully it is more compatible.

2.0.6 preview for me still fails Win 7, CC 2015 and CS6. CS6 is a bit slower to crash but will happen on 2nd instance of the right things are poked. Same behavior (no change) from 2.0.5. Attached is a screen grab after 2nd entry into Configure and accessing Video panel (I think same as 2.0.5 but may tell you something). Reason I attach is that you'll notice that the dialog when mouse over sort of half refreshes. If I try to scroll or fiddle with the dialog, it crashes. Hope this may give you some idea. The initial/usual view is total blank.

I also observed this sometimes with version 2.0.5, this is not specific to release 2.0.6

I had a return of Ogt that has no problem with Premiere Pro 2015 and Windows 7. It's going to be difficult...

I was able to find a solution! The error only happens when using the "Classic Windows" desktop theme.
You can work around this with switching to the Windows 7 / 8.1 standard desktop theme.
You're right 
By changing the Windows's theme, I confirm that the problem disappears. It's the right way to found a solution.
Hopefully the wxWidgets guys look into it and see if they can fix it also for the classic theme.
OH my, how do make it not classic 
I had to enable Theme server (had it disabled). I have tried to maintain the same look since Windows NT 3.51 ... and that's going back quite a few years.

Anyway, confirmed it now works for me too.
NT 4.0 introduced the Windows 95 look. 3.51 still looked like Windows 3.11. I miss that style too. This was the good old time when windows was not overloaded.
I got the idea when looking at the screenshots. All of the them had the classic theme enabled.
And I spent DAYS to install a full development environment in a windows 7 VM. I still want to fix it though.
I got trapped again after switching from Windows 7 Family to the Pro version to manage 32GB of Ram... And it tooks me a little while to find again this discussion.
May be it should be mentioned prominently (FAQ and elsewhere ?) so that people who test Voukoder for the first time do not come across this problem and immediately abandon Voukoder.
