Is it possible to hide encoder settings in MediaInfo so that others who got the video file won't be able to know it?

Currently there is no way to hide the parameters for x264/x265. The encoders add it by themselves.

They could possibly be remuxed without them, if I have understanded correctly.

Retaining encode information is quite useful for people who have to diagnose issues with playback or ingest, particularly in broadcast environments, are you just wishing to protect your own recipe?

Ditto. I really like to have the embedded encoding info. I too use it for debugging.

I am not sure how do to this and there is no real use case for it. Rejected until there is a good reason for it.
