I am using both Voukoder R2 and 1.2 and there is a lot of diff in encoding R2 just not using full resources and hence encode slowly as compared to 1.2
R2 is way slow not consuming all the resources

Yes, there are quite some reports that R2 is slower, but I still don't know why. On my systems i can't find any performance issues. You might also look at this to investiagte the issue on your system:
