With the latest builds of Voukoder there is no video data in the rendered MP4 file, it's audio only. Selected x264 as video codec (CRF set to 20 and level range set to PC/Full Levels) and AAC (settings untouched) as audio codec.

Do you use the "color space" filter? There is a known issue that you have to set all options of one group (i.e. output), not just a single one.

Yes, I did and that was it. It now renders video, too. Thanks for that hint.
Now there's a level problem, but I have to further investigate this one.

Seems there has been a change in zlib that is not compatible with ffmpeg git master:
code 2049: unrecognized chroma location
