Voukoder makes Adobe Premiere elements crash for some reason

    Hello,

    I was using voukoder pretty happily but today I opened my elements, went to export and as soon as I chose Devices (there have to be presets) Adobe hangs and crashes. If I remove voukoder, I see there in presets 3 empty (without names) presets, which I am not able to delete nor use Advanced settings.. Something broke Adobe. Any help? No logs.

    Connector and Voukoder are latest.

    ouh. I was able to fix it.

    There is a folder with path

    %SYSTEMDRIVE%\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Premiere Elements\17.0\SC\Presets\PC\Computer\MP4 - H.264

    I've deleted those 3 presets. Why they were not visible - IDK. But now it works.

    Hm, seems like it is other issue. Idk which one. It does it randomly. I close/open Adobe until I just have possibility to access this section (device-> custom). Any way I can help you with debug? I can record a video with what is happening if it might help. I'd be happy to resolve it, as i like vouk a lot.

    I've reinstalled the Premiere now. Also connector and plugin itself. As soon as I save new preset it becomes doing these freezes. Anyway I can debug it further? Adobe Premiere 2019 just hangs and then windows says it is not responding. I tried a lot of time loading AP2019 without saved preset and it was working fine. When I saved the preset, closed the AP2019, opened it, tried to export media and bang. frozen.

    First time I start the app it is ok. Nothing done between, just close the app, start it once more and freeze on the same place. Please note, I was just lucky to be able to access that device menu on the first start. It does not do it all the time. It might be like ok ok nok nok ok ok nok nok nok nok nok ok ok etc.

    If I delete the preset, it works fine again.

    I've attached two files: one is mine preset and another is the one APE2019 downloads from the web. I can see a huge base64 stuff in the preset generated by the Voukoder. Maybe it is an issue for elements? Also you can compare these two, may be there is some incompatibility between premiere and premiere elements presets?

    and if I decode it is only parameters for encoder... but the weird sybmol at the end?

    Not visible here, but base64 does sow it.

    And I've done another trick: i deleted the voukoder generated preset and moved the one attached and downloaded by elements itself. Everything is working. No freezes. So it is up to the preset file generated by Voukoder.

    uhhh, do a harddrive health check just to make sure it's not dying, be quick as if it is the problem then you need backup files asap

    Have there been any updates on this? I am having the same problem with Adobe Premiere Elements 2019: It crashes every time I try to export using voukoder. I've tried using many different presets and it crashes every time.

    I played around with different presets, and confirmed that HEVC/h265 IS working in Premiere Elements 2019 with every codec EXCEPT QSV. (which is my favorite codec :D)

    Is this a known issue with the latest Voukoder release? I could try updating Premiere Elements to the latest version if QSV is working on other editors.

    I'm running all the newest drivers from Intel and Nvidia.
