Hi,
using Voukoder 6.2 release, with Adobe Media Encoder.
there is a problem with AAC audio encoding: a pop in the audio that is not in the original file.
Source: ProRes, PCM stereo audio 48kHz 24bit
Destination: H.264 NVENC 2-pass 4000-5000kbps, AAC 320kbps audio.
In this particular clip, after encoding, about 48 seconds in, there is a clear pop in the right channel that wasn't there before.
Auditioned original file to confirm audio is clean.
Tried changing video encoding parameters and codec (x.264), no change, pop appears in same place in right channel.
Changed AAC bitrate: no difference.
Changed audio codec to MP3: pop is gone, audio is good.
Logfile looks normal.
So something weird happening with AAC encoding there.
As far as I understand, ffmpeg is used for AAC encoding. Is this library integrated in Voukoder?
Any workarounds possible switching to a different AAC encoder? Known ffmpeg problem perhaps?
Thanks!
Best regards,
Carl.
