When encoding in DVD resolution (720×576) you will get always an AR of 5:4 instead of 4:3 or 16:9. There is no possibility to set the SAR to the right values (SAR 16:15 for AR 4:3 or SAR 64:45 fro AR 16:9).
There is no setting for the pixel/sample aspect ratio!
