The virtualdub2 is an open-source software, so everybody can develop and modify freely.
There is a problem with video capture in virtualdub2. It has problems with NV12 sources. It can not display the live picture and capture the video at the same time. You can choose that no-preview than you can capture the source. Or you can choose "overlay" to view the source picture, but you can not record.
The developer of VD2 said, that he has heard about this bug, however, he said sadly, that he has not such HW device which can provide NV12 source videos, so he can not test it.
Can you fix this problem in VD2?
