Which codec you recommend for archival purposes, which is uncompressed and supports 16-Bit color depth per RGB channel? FFV1 maybe?
And do all hosts support 16 Bit or is high color depth limited to specific ones?

There's not much option for lossless 16-bit and also very limited host support. (even video players)
Use: MKV (FFV1/FLAC) (or PCM for compatibility).
