Thank you! So if I'm aiming for best quality, are NVENC and x264 on par? I have a 12900k CPU and 3070 GPU.

I'm using Voukoder to encode short films (via Premiere Pro) shot on my DSLR. Everywhere I look I find information for gamers who are streaming but not much info for encoding films. Sometimes I encode narrative films and sometimes it's corporate films with text and graphics included.

I always export in H.264.

What's the best codec - NVENC vs x264?

What's the best 'Strategy' - Constant Quantizer, Variable Bitrate etc.?
