Finer control for situations when 18 is too much and 19 too little. Having this "feature" wouldn't have any downsides.

For example, selecting YUV 4:2:2 in pixel format should only show High 4:2:2 in profile option.

Same happens with x264 level.

Updating level (in x264) should automatically show changes under Rate control, Frames and Analysis.

Also don't forget this.

When x264 and Uncompressed PCM is selected, MPEG-4 (.mp4) container is select-able but once you start exporting it will give error.

I previously as for this important feature, without this there is very noticeable banding.

I don't know if this is related but if I open Configure menu audio encoder always goes to Vorbis

Allow using crf values that are not round numbers

for example crf=18.5

The standard AAC built into FFMPEG is actually BETTER than FDK-AAC at higher than 128kb bitrates. FDKAAC comes into its own below 128k and in part at 128k.

Do you have more info about this? In all my tests FFMPEGs AAC always sound worse in every bitrate.

How much is this delay? Do you know if ffmpeg compiled with FDK has same issue?

Perhaps this delay could be avoided by bundling FDK with ffmpeg and using it that way.

Sampling rate also seems to be wrong.

By default FDK-AAC cuts of anything above 17kHz when using CBR mode. It's possible to change it.

Vouk could you perhaps add button that changes this to 20kHz?

Workaround for this is to use ("VBR" In Voukoder) Quality Mode 5. Downside to this is that it has lower maximum bitrate.

if i were you i would just wait year or two before thinking about this, because currently AV1 encoders aren't really fast for "day2day" use and are still quite experimental thus implementing them now would be for nothing in near future.
