Unfortunately I can not work full time on Voukoder. I will check this when I find some time.
What's up about Voukoder and Avid products? Did you succeed in programming?

Thank you so much for reply & don't forget that Media Composer is Hollywood standard & you help Hollywood a lot if you port Voukoder to Avid products!
Do you know if there is a public export SDK for AVID available?
Hi
Thank you so much for the reply, yes of course, here is:
Avid Media Access (AMA)
Avid Media Access (AMA) is a plug-in architecture that allows users to link to and write back (export) common media formats and popular interchange formats, like MXF OP1a, AS-11, AS-02, MOV, and MP4, that are not supported natively within Avid environments. This architecture eliminates the need to convert to Avid native formats, e.g., from XDCAM EX MP4 into Avid OPAtom carrying XDCAM EX, so that users can link to acquisition formats and associated metadata for immediate viewing and editing. The architecture also allows for write back/export to popular delivery formats. By creating AMA plug-ins, developers can enable rich workflows with custom media file formats and associated metadata within Avid environments.

So, did you succeed?
I tried various ways: Twitter, Email, Helpdesk ... no response anymore.
Avid Media Composer is the best video editor in the world, were you able to develop for this program?
What about just importing FFmpeg formats, we all Adobe users really need this.
The answer is simple: all supported codecs by FFmpeg.
For Avid Media Composer please.
Is it possible to fully support FFmpeg for Adobe Media Encoder?
Daniel, it's funny to ask, but do you develop an export HEIF plug-in or whatever you call it for Photoshop? because currently after many years still Photoshop doesn't support it!
Perhaps, but VVC / H.266 is already on the horizon... yep, the introduction of AV1 is moving into a more active phase.
Compression of H.266 is so much better, it must be revolutionary like H.264. AV1 quality is just like VP8/9 format, very blurry!
By reading the features of the AV1 codec and its support on sites such as YouTube and Netflix. And I came across an article on how to use it through FFmpeg, but this is not the main thing. I came across a link to a new encoder under the name "rav1e", which, by assurance, is faster than the current one.
https://github.com/xiph/rav1e
I understand that in its current form it is not perfect. True, I would like to see in future builds.
I compared AV1 with H.264 & the quality of AV1 is inferior to H.264!
VFW and Directshow codecs can be use in all output container formats, not just in avi. Most NLE softwares proves that. For example: VFW versions x264 and x265 can be used in mp4 mkv flv , MTS M2TS output containers.
Connectors are much betters, LAV Filters supports all FFmpeg decoders & splitters (they are DirectShow filters)
Sorry for previous probably offensive comment, just had a bad sleep
I didn't realize you were not talking about exporting, but just saying after lots of attempts, export a lossless version and use QAAC -a 320 does give the best quality in lossy audio among all other options
For importing, the best way for now is to convert your lossless source file to another lossless file that Audition supports, it depends on Adobe to consider adding any codec support so I recommend you to leave a feedback on Adobe forum and Audition subreddit
It's OK.
They don't care about any requests on official Audition's support & forums, they don't even look at forums!
That aac encoder is horrible because it destroys your high pitch audio profile, and there are lots of distorsions in mid range, QAAC is way better
I don't know who made this aac encoder but if that is the quality it offers then that MP3 encoder would be sub par
Can you tell what's the reason Audition requires a output plugin support? I would just output .wav and then compress it
I want to directly compress it to lossy formats & I don't want to buy & install extra apps like dBpoweramp!
You still have the ability to load the FDK AAC encoder. After all ... if you want to have high quality audio, don't even consider using AAC or MP3 or any other lossy codec. Use either FLAC, ALAC or uncompressed audio.
Need it for old car audio head units that only supports MP3, AAC. Opus is needed for importing WhatsApp audio files & Bink Media for extracting audio from Bink Video files.
