Meanwhile, in OBS it only goes up to 51, how odd. Thanks for the heads up!

..Is NVENC AV1 QP meant to go from 0-255?
-
Excellent news, thanks to both of you!
-
Namely "tune=x", "film-grain=x" and "fast-decode=x". Though personally I'm mostly interested in tune.

The "Color Range" option under "Video Settings" in Premiere directly doesn't seem to do anything.
Exporting sRGB footage without changing anything looks alright, but it could be better.
Adding the ColorSpace filter in Voukoder fixes the video properties, but the colors get washed out.
Am I using the wrong settings, is this Voukoder, or does Premiere not support it?
I'm not a expert with Premiere, so excuse me of this is a fault on my end.

Any chance for -svtav1-params 'tune' ,'film-grain-denoise', or the weird 'superres-mode'?
Off topic
Are you meant to use a Voukoder filter to get full color range? The option in premiere directly, the one under video, does nothing when set to (0-255)
-
Fair enough, thanks. Felt slower than I expected at first, caught me off guard.
-
SVT-AV1 and CRF seem to work fine. But is it normal for it to be noticeably slower than FFmpeg directly? Overhead coming from Premiere I suppose?
-
I shall await the eventual Nvidia related announcement then, hopefully it's AV1 related
-
Not what I expected, thanks a lot! Interesting date tho.. is there a reason for it?
-
Any idea when we might be getting CRF for SVT-AV1?
I think to remember you saying it needs FFmpeg 5.x, so I get it's not a over night change.
-
The next version will be based on FFmpeg 5.1. I don't have any release date yet.
First you give us the newer NVENC presets, and now even 5.1? Talking about a lot of gifts!
-
Sorry for the confusion mate. I mostly use (SVT-)AV1 through FFMPEG, where it does support CRF, so I didn't notice Voukoder only having CQ as an option.
You can see the preset number in the lil box below all the other options
Preset 8 = Ultra Fast
Preset 10 = Warp 9.975
-
Only tested this once, but it exported no problem on my 1070 with 512.77
-
They're similar-ish, but function differently. Preferably use CRF if possible, it will result in smaller file-sizes, or more "optimized" if you wanna think of it that way.
-
Strange, I was always building from master which should be most recent. But I have set it to 1.1.0 now.
Very happy to read that, now we just need a download.
-
Personally I much prefer CRF over a set bitrate, and going with a value of 20-30 is usually a pretty safe bet. Just go by the default values that Intel set for SVT-AV1, then adapt them to your needs. For v1.0 that would be Preset 10 with CRF 35, for example. But note that, if I remember correctly, Voukoder is still stuck on v0.9, while the most recent version is 1.1x.
Most of these options aren't relevant to Voukoder, but I'm posting them for context: SVT-AV1 Github

Since SVT-AV1 has replaced AOM-AV1, I was wondering if there is a chance of adding SVT-VP9 support as well.
I get that AV1 has a higher priority, especially because of Intels GPUs, but VP9 still has it's uses. https://github.com/OpenVisualCloud/SVT-VP9

Huzzah! Beta 3 indeed fixed it, good job!

Hate to say it, but same issue as before.
